Texas State German Contest Invitation 2026

You are invited to take part in the 46th annual Texas State German Contest. Every high school German program with qualifiers from their regional contest are invited to participate.

Registration is due by February 12, 2027. The entry fee is $15.00 per contestant. This deadline will be strictly followed. The registration form must be submitted by 11:59 PM, February 12, 2027.

LATE Registration received after February 12, will cost $20 per contestant and must be submitted no later than February 17, 2027 (11:59 pm).

Please use the Registration Form on this web site. Follow all instructions carefully on the official entry form. 
ALL ENTRY FEES MUST BE POSTMARKED ON OR BEFORE February 20, 2027.

Each entry fee covers the entrant for as many events as he/she may be qualified for, including both individual and group contests.

Schools that have qualifying groups and/or individuals for the State contest, but decide not to participate in the State Contest, must inform the Director of the Regional contest where their students qualified ON THE DAY OF THE REGIONAL CONTEST. This must also be done on the State Registration Form.

Lists of Qualifiers not attending must be emailed to the Regional Contest Director by or before Feb. 12, 2027!
