Digital Submission Deadlines
For digitally submitted events, students or teachers must submit the entries 1 week prior to the in person contest date. This is to ensure that virtual judging can be completed in time for calculations and awards on contest day.
HOWEVER, for 2022 Virtual Contest, entries will be submitted no later than the actually scheduled contest day.
Digital entries must be submitted via a Google Form according to instructions that are sent to teachers prior to contest. Make sure to double check applicable event rules for submission guidelines.
Submission Deadline: 9 AM, Saturday, February 26, 2022.

2022 Virtual Contest Rule Adjustments & Submission Details:
This document contains all events that will be offered this year for our 2nd ever virtual Texas State German Contest. Please use this as a resource for any slight rule changes that we might have made to accommodate the virtual environment, as well as information about how you will submit your entries and participating in the “live” entries. For the 13 events that were originally designated as permanently digitally submitted events, refer to the next document.
Digital Submission Events at a Glance: (These events will remain “virtual” events indefinitely.)
This document contains all of the digitally submitted events in one place. You can also find the rules and individual critique sheets in their respective categories under the “Rules” tab.
Consent & Liability Form
Because of all the digital submissions, etc., we are requesting all students to have a Consent and Liability form on file (much like the one for the Promotional Video Contest). Teachers should pay attention to emails from the director for specific instructions on submission, but you will likely either combine all signed forms into one PDF document to share with the director, or share a Google folder containing all individual forms.
